Dealer Notes

This outstanding example of a 2010 Ford Transit Connect XLT is offered by Carolina Ford. It's not often you find just the vehicle you are looking for AND with low mileage. This is your chance to take home a gently used and barely driven Ford Transit Connect. You could keep looking, but why? You've found the perfect vehicle right here. This is the one. Just what you've been looking for. More information about the 2010 Ford Transit Connect: Tremendous cargo space in a compact, economical vehicle is the main selling point for the Transit Connect. Ford says that it has more than double the cargo-carrying space of the Chevy HHR Panel van, and its short 180-inch length should make it nearly as easy to park as a small car. Low operating costs are a strong reason to consider the Transit Connect, as it has fuel economy ratings of up to 24 mpg and has long--for a commercial vehicle--maintenance intervals of 7,500 miles. Strengths of this model include cargo-carrying ability, manageable size, Interior space, frugal price and good fuel economy, and available conveniences of a car

At 6' 3", 248# most american cars have become to small for me to drive, including small trucks. I didn't want a large truck any longer due to fuel costs. This little van is an awesome trade off. 25 MPG, 1500# cargo load, and convertible seats in the rear. Plus, sitting in the drivers seat, I can just barely touch the ceiling. My only gripe is how small the side view mirrors are. Leaves blind spots. This isn't a race car, but it is very fun to drive along with tight turning radius's.

Reliable convenient comfortable fuel efficient ...in the delivery business in the city lots of stop and go . Front end can't handle the load I carry. Replaced the entire front end twice.
  • Not Great for Service

Currently a Service Manager for a Food and Beverage service company. We replaced three of our trucks in November of 2011, from E250 and Sprinters. The thought was better fuel rates and cheaper investment. However the Transit is extremely uncomfortable if you are taller then 5'7", no leg room at all. We have racked the trucks however we have found that there is not enough room for what we do. A large hill is the trucks enemy, no power to get out of its own way. The three trucks fuel consumption is about 20mpg average when stock with equipment. Tank is so small that techs are having refuel twice a day, decreasing billable time. At this point we have sold one, the other two are being sold. We will never purchase these again.
